November 08, 2023 Empowering Women in Business: Our Success Story

We are a majority women owned business. We are in the process of registering with OMWBE for a WBE (women owned business enterprise). I'm so grateful to have talented men around me who do most of the heavy lifting. For 8 years, I was a single mom. The only men in my life were three little boys. I had to do most of the heavy lifting myself. I replaced my own roof, fixed my own car, replaced my dishwasher, installed a bathtub and shower and all the plumbing, did all my own landscaping, and dirtwork, etc. I even changed the head gaskets on my '87 diesel suburban all by myself!

Things have changed. Now those three boys are pretty much all men. I have a talented husband, and a talented team of men working for me. I feel beyond blessed. I still work very hard. Sometimes I work on the business, and like the pictures show, sometimes I even work in the business. It's a lot of fun and a lot of responsibility. But I want to give a shout out to all those good, hardworking men out there. Where would we be without them?
